Outing Host – Colene McKee
Saturday, Nov 8th, 9-11 AM at Yost Park in Edmonds, WA
Please consider joining Edmonds Stewards to work on habitat restoration at Yost Park for a couple of hours on Saturday morning. Yost Park, located in Edmonds along Shell Creek, features 48 acres of beautiful forest and 1.5 miles of trails maintained by the City of Edmonds and local volunteers. Shell Creek is a natural stream that provides habitat for Chum Salmon. The planned work aims to control erosion and restore habitat, likely including removing invasive plants and planting native ones.
Meet with Edmonds Stewards at the main park entrance near the tennis court. Lead stewards Julie and Greg usually oversee these events.
Bring work gloves and dress for the weather!
