From its very founding The NFA has had fly fishing education as one of its primary functions. On an annual basis the club offers classes in fly tying, fly casting and rod building for both beginner and advanced students.

 Beginning Casting Class

What:  A Beginning Fly Casting Class is being offered.  It will be taught by members of the Northwest Fly Anglers.  Bring your fly rod and we will show you how to use it.  If you do not yet have a fly rod let me know early so I can reserve one of my loaner rods for you to uses during the class.  If you need help assembling your rod arrive 30 minutes early and we will give you a hand.
When:  Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 10:00 am
Where:  Green Lake Casting Pier in Seattle.
Cost:  This class is free!!!
What to Bring:  Rod, Reel, Dry Line, Heavy Leader, Eye Protection (regular glasses or sunglasses) and weather appropreate clothing.
